We’re less than 7 days away from when the polls open on Election Day. Our campaign is busy making phone calls, knocking on doors, passing out literature and talking with voters about our positive message.

Our campaign is going strong – and that’s scaring a lot of Washington liberals. Yesterday, Barack Obama’s favorite Congressman Tom Perriello jumped in the race to help our opponent. Now, Barack Obama is throwing his support behind her.

President Obama’s Political Action Committee, Organizing for America, is rallying liberal supporters and trying to silence your voices.

We can’t let that happen. We only have one week to go and we need to speak with every voter in the Eighth District. We need your help to make that happen. Please come by the headquarters to make phone calls or help canvass your neighborhood.

It looks like Obama, Perriello and their Washington allies didn’t hear you in November when you said you had enough of their government takeovers and deficit spending.

This election is about lower taxes and less government. It’s about putting the people back in charge and holding elected officials accountable. It’s about getting government out of the way and letting businesses create jobs.

We need your help. Please, come down to headquarters and make some phone calls. It’s easy and even if you only stop by on your way home from work, that’s a big help. We’re located at 115 Roanoke Blvd in Salem, near the firehouse downtown.
