Fire House Republican Primary - November 23, 2010

The 8th Legislative District Committee met yesterday, November 12, 2010, to decide the nominating process and establish the rules for the upcoming Republican Canvass. The purpose of the canvass is to select the Republican nominee for the special election - which will most likely be held on Jan 11, 2010 - to fill the House seat vacated by Morgan Griffith.

The fire house primary (canvass) is set for Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 3:30 to 7:30 PM at three locations - one in Salem and two in Roanoke County. The polling place for the canvass will be held at the Salem Civic Center for City of Salem registered voters. Anyone but Habeeb! Please. People think about it... He will not represent us!

Do we have to have another lawyer? Are there any good citizen politicians out there?

The cat is out of the bag, anonymous! Why don't you spill the beans and let the rest of the folks know who you are and why you're posting on here?

"Habeeb=extremism!"

I agree, and I am a conservative. We do not need this type of politician here.

Can a good conservative run, please!

I also agree.

Habeeb is an extremist. He is a part of the neo-conservative, socially restricting on individual liberty, and not a true conservative. He will never be a part of the Tea Party, and in a part of the George Bush, Dick Cheney conservative.
