As we previously posted, the Roanoke County, Roanoke City and Salem Republican Units are hosting a Family Barbecue on July 26, 2008. This event is coming together fantastically and we wanted to provide more details as they're known.
What: Roanoke Valley GOP Family Barbecue
When: July 26, 2008 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. (Rain or Shine)
Where: Darrell Shell Park behind Penn Forest Elementary School
Cost: Nothing, Nada, Zero, Zip, Zilch.
We'll have Henry's Memphis Barbecue, kids' games and more. Did I mention it is completely free. Confirmed attendees include Congressman Bob Goodlatte, State Senator Ralph Smith, House Majority Leader Morgan Griffith, Delegate William Fralin, Roanoke City Sheriff Octavia Johnson and more. This will be a great time to just hang out, eat some good food and have some fun. Bring your family, friends, co-workers, etc. Email if you have any questions and we hope to see you all on July 26.
